To make a change you must Be inspired or be disgusted

There are only 2 reasons people step up and make a change to their life style.

#1 They are inspired to achieve a goal or do something
#2 They are disgusted by ether themselves, someone or something.

“I found myself at an impasse, sit on my ass and wallow in sorrow drink alcohol and get fat, or use my spare time and work on me, get fit and strong and prove to myself that I can get strong and improve my body and take it to places it has never been before.” – David webber

This is the Amazing transformation of one of my Favourite people
Follow David Webber on Instagram1: What made you decide to become healthy and lose weight?
Initially it was a break up from a long term relationship. I found myself at an impasse, sit on my ass and wallow in sorrow drink alcohol and get fat, or use my spare time and work on me, get fit and strong and prove to myself that I can get strong and improve my body and take it to places it has never been before.
Once I got to a stage where I was happy with me inside and out, I focus my journey on my professional sports development and worked on my body to become stronger and more consistent in my professional golf, becoming stronger so I could perform better on the golf course and be injury free for longer.
2: How much weight have you lost?
I started my journey at 98kgs at my lightest I was 67kgs. I then stopped focusing on the number on the scales and went towards muscle mass and body fat percentages. I am currently 79kgs.

3: What is it about being fit and healthy that makes you happy?
To see the progress I have made not only with my body but with my sport as well. I see the results in the mirror and on the golf course. Also to be able to do things that other people can’t.

4: What do you eat for breakfast on an average day?
6 weetbix with full cream milk, half a scoop of protein on top with cinnamon and honey and a cup of coffee.

5: What’s your favourite healthy snack?
2 spoons of plain chobani greek yogurt with 2/3 cups of muesli mix with almonds with cinnamon and honey

6: What’s the best advice you have received?
Don’t focus on the number on the scales. Try everything once and find ways to keep lifting fun and interesting

7: What keeps you motivated?
My awesome friend Tiae Marks!!!!! The want to keep getting better to never be content with where my body is. To always be able to push my body to the next level.

8: What advice can you give someone who is trying to lose weight?
Don’t focus on what the scales say. BMI are most important in recognising the bodies development. Don’t just run on a treadmill or on the road, weight training is a huge part of the weight loss process. I look slimmer, smaller and more defined now at 79kgs with weight training than I did when I was 67kgs with just running and diet.

9: If you could give the old you one piece of advice what would it be?
Do it for yourself and no one else. Don’t be afraid to fail, it’s all a process to bettering yourself. Seek the positives in all situations, your outlook on life will change for the better.

10: What is your favourite sweet treat?
Pancakes with maple syrup bacon and ice cream.

11: What is your favourite form of training and why?
Weights training all the way. Deadlifts and Squats because I feel these are the strongest of the movements you can do in weight training apart from Olympic lifting. These movements use the most muscles in any lifting movement. If you can deadlift and squat decent numbers you are strong.

12: What are your health and fitness 2017 resolutions?
I want to get to a body weight of 78kgs to 80kgs with a body fat percentage of 8% to 9%. If I can get to that I might consider a body building comp.
